Muslims Thank Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II: Prime Minister Gordon Brown: Mayor Ken Livingstone > EID in London

The first ever celebrations in Trafalgar Square to mark the Muslim festival of Eid ul-fitr will take place on Saturday 28 October from 1pm to 5pm. Eid on the Square will include live entertainment, a street bazaar and exhibitions and displays about Islam. It is free and open to all Londoners. For information call 020 7983 4100.

Eid in the Square is being organised by the Muslim Council of Britain London Affairs Committee and the Mayor of London. It is backed by MCB, Islamic Relief and media partners the Islam Channel and Channel S.
